Solly’s Grille in Glendale is famous around Milwaukee and beyond for its butter burger. Now its renown is growing: It’s one of six restaurants to receive the 2022 America’s Classics Award<\/b>, announced Wednesday by the James Beard Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The award is given to locally owned restaurants with “timeless appeal” that are “beloved regionally for quality food that reflects the character of its community,” the foundation says in its announcement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve been in the restaurant business for 37 years, and it\u2019s time,” owner Glenn Fieber said, laughing. “But I really never thought it would be something that comes our way. It\u2019s like the World Series, the Super Bowl in the restaurant world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
